© Zell am See Kaprun Tourismus OUT THERE.
Up here, the world goes quiet.
We take you high. Above the tree line, above the noise, to views that simply don’t end. The world you left down there? For a few hours, it stops existing.
This is where a place stops being a postcard and becomes real. You walk it. You breathe it. A mountain hut with soup and a view no photo ever gets right. A picnic by a lake so clear you can see the bottom. Lying in the grass with nothing to do but watch the clouds. Rivers the colour of glass, waterfalls deep in national parks, a swim in the sea after a day in the hills. Your legs get tired. Your head gets clear.
On your own or with a guide, easy trails or real summits. The secret is knowing which path, which hut, which hour the light is best, and which day the weather turns. We read the mountain, so you don’t have to.
This is our backyard. You go out there. We sort the rest.
Come for the views. Leave a different person.
Thank you for choosing to step outside. Out here nobody checks their phone, the air tastes different, and a simple sandwich on a mountain is the best meal of the trip.
Tell us what makes you feel alive outside. We’ll find the trails, the huts and the quiet corners worth your time.
Plan my outdoor escapeNo packages. No templates. Just a conversation.

The world above the valley.
Slow panorama walks. Mountain lakes the colour of glacier ice. Waterfalls you hear long before you see them. Hut terraces where the cheese comes from the cows outside the window, and summer evenings that never seem to end. This is what’s waiting up there.
We work with licensed local mountain guides who know every step, every bend, every legend and every hidden corner of these trails. With them, a walk is no longer just a walk. It’s a whole new world.
01KrimmlInto the thunder of Krimml
Austria’s highest waterfalls, 380 metres in three giant steps. The path climbs right beside them, so close the spray cools your face and the roar fills your chest. Every bend opens a new view, and every view is louder than the last.
02KaprunTurquoise lakes at 2,000 metres
A bus, a tunnel and one of Europe’s biggest open-air inclined lifts take you up to two giant turquoise lakes held by dams, glaciers all around. Then you walk along the dam wall with the world below you.
03Saalbach ↔ Zell am SeeThe ridge between two worlds
The Pinzgauer Spaziergang, our legendary high trail from Saalbach to the Schmittenhöhe above Zell am See. Lifts up at both ends, and in between a ridge with the glaciers of the Hohe Tauern on one side and soft green valleys on the other. All day long.
04Maria Alm / Zell am SeeSchwalbenwand: three views, one summit
Climb to the summit cross and turn around slowly. Lake Zell sparkling below, the Kitzsteinhorn glacier across the valley, and the pale rock wall of the Steinernes Meer behind you. Few summits give you this much in one look.
05Saalbach HinterglemmThree trails. One trophy.
The Saalbach Wander Challenge, for those who want more. The Pinzgauer Spaziergang, the Seven Summits over the Geißstein, the highest peak in the valley at 2,363 metres, and the Home of Lässig Walk past the little Hochtorsee lake. Finish all three and a personal trophy is waiting for you.
06Saalbach HinterglemmWhere the road ends, the quiet begins
Our home valley, the quiet way. The Talschluss trail takes you to the very end of the Glemmtal, past four alms, where the road stops and only cows, streams and wooden huts remain. This is the Saalbach most skiers never see.
07Dorfgastein · Gastein ValleyA mirror lake above the clouds
The gondola takes you up the Fulseck, and there it is: the Spiegelsee, a small lake sitting on the mountain top, with clouds drifting below you and the glaciers of the Hohe Tauern closing the valley. A perfect day for families and slow walkers.
08Kitzbühel, TirolWalk the most famous ski race in the world
Every January the world watches the Hahnenkamm race. In summer, you can walk it. The gondola takes you up to the starting house at 1,660 metres, and from there you follow the racers’ line down: the Mausefalle with up to 85% gradient, the Steilhang, the Hausbergkante, all the way to the finish. Standing at the top, you’ll wonder how anyone skis this at over 100 km/h.
Tell us your legs, your pace and who’s coming. We’ll build your days on the mountain around you.
Plan my mountain days Times are for an easy, relaxed pace with photo stops. Distances are approximate. Our summer, your way
Six places we’d take our own family, and the little things only locals know about them.
Kitzsteinhorn glacierSnowballs at breakfast, swimming by lunch.
Up to 3,000 metres, snow under your feet in July, then back down to the lake for the afternoon. The kind of day you’ll be telling people about for years.
Grossglockner36 bends, one glacier and a marmot who wants your carrot.
Built by hand in the 1930s, through the toughest years Austria knew. Opened in 1935, and still the most beautiful drive in the Alps.
Krimml WaterfallsYou’ll hear it before you see it.
380 metres of water in three drops, the highest falls in Austria. The trail climbs right beside the falls, close enough to feel the spray on your face.
HallstattSo pretty, China built a copy.
True story. But nothing beats the original: 7,000 years of salt, a lake like a mirror and the Skywalk hanging above it all.
SalzburgMozart, gardens and a hundred terraces.
Baroque squares, Mirabell’s flowers, the fortress on the hill and more cafés than you have days. Sachertorte by the river, Salzburger Nockerl for two. Tradition you can taste.
Food & stayDinner by the lake. Then dessert. Obviously.
Kasnocken in a cast-iron pan, fresh lake fish, a glass of Austrian white as the sun goes down. Hosts who remember your name. This is how we live.
Keep exploring. We’ll sort the rest.
Mountains or sea, snow or sun, a weekend or a whole journey. Here’s where else we’d love to take you.
